Graduated the artistic-graphical faculty of the Pedagogical Institute of Khabarovsk, then - the "Graphics" faculty of the Moscow polygraphical Institute specialising in the artistic design of printed products. The artist has designed more than 40 books. He works with watercolours, engravings, mainly xylography, and Ex Libris. He is attracted by a woman's image and nature; he paints portraits, "Nu", and landscapes. In 1990, he became a member of the Russian Artists' Union.
